Any more edgy power fantasies like this?
I already read prince of thorns and it was edgier than this.

I'm skeptical. I've been burned before reading popular self-published fantasy recommended by /sffg/. Take this for instance. The writing is amateurish, the prose juvenile, and the main character a contradictory wish-fulfillment self insert Mary Sue.

I mean how do you get a character that is simultaneously autistic, unaware of social conventions, and yet a smooth talking social engineer as charming as Locke Lamorra (yes I know the explanation for how this happens, but that's just the author's post-hoc justification for a shitty character)

so this is the power of self publishing

Can anyone suggest similar protagonists? I'd prefer someone who isn't swooned over by every female character.
