Was in a living nightmare, surprised in a moment
of waking terror! Oh, the horror!
She would recount in pain,
The fair maiden was sure,
as sure as the sun would come up
That the devil was real, and visited her
in the nights before, and the ones to come.

Literally the entire first part is just me describing the book as if it's non-fiction lmao. There are so many characters that I have to write I didn't even get to the good part yet.
