I just finished The Sun also Rises by Hemmingway. Before picking it up, I had made up my mind to quit drinking for a while. Over the span of reading the book, I went on a binge, because if these assholes can get drunk in every goddamn chapter, then so can I.

During a course on the sun also rises :

Robert Cohn is portrayed as a self-pitying and pathetic man

That one gay character in paris is named Zizi, which basically means dick in french

Just because the jew of the story is an annoying beta orbiter doesn't mean Hemingway hated jews right ?
