I keep hearing that foucault was a crypto-fascist, but no one is able to elaborate on it. What connections does he have with fascism, other than his love for Heidegger and leather outfits?

tommorow I'm holding a talk about sexual perversions in the middle ages. my professor is in love with foucault so I told him I'd also make a part about "The History of Sexuality" in relation to the middle ages. I've been going to our Unis university every other day for two weeks and none of the volumes are available. I don't want you to do my homework for me, I'm just asking if anyone has a .pdf or .epub of it? Help a nigga out, I'm desperate.

Yesterday I shared a text with a friend from uni and I got confronted with a fact that I had never expected: apparently I am a very, very slow reader.

I want to improve myself, but I'm torn. I have a very easy time immersing in books and I love it, it is a big part of what makes reading fun for me. Also, sometimes I think reading faster will make me overlook sublties or jump over words.

My question to you is: how can I improve reading speed while still keeping up the immersion; without being careless or sloppy?

(Just to make that clear, I am referring to reading books, not online articles or scientific papers)

How did you increase your reading speed?

Yes, I know reading more will obviously increase reading speed over time, but I've increased my daily dosis for the last two years without much effect.

What is your view on this? How fast do you read? How important is immersion for you?
