ridiculous question. all forms of art have been intertwined with politics forever. gulliver's travels, published 1735, was a political satire. the bible has a heavy political spin in its message, particularly about king david.

Why is post-modern art such abstract, psuedo-philosophical nonsense? Why can't they just learn to draw good like in classical art?

First time posting in this thread, but do you guys honestly think that blue painting is worth millions? I can understand that it was a very radical comparison and that Picasso did pull off some interesting paintings, like pic related (inb4 >it's shit), but what about the post-modern stuff these days?
