How do I become less knowledgeable and dumber? I have come to realize that the happiest people are always the most ignorant. I am cultured, educated, and extremely intelligent. How do I change that?

Good literature can not be created from the first world. Good literature only comes through an author who has been through hardships and struggles, and who has an interesting story to tell. A scrawny pasty white man from America who lives in a basement and who has never had any interactions with anyone outside of his online chatrooms can not write good literature. It is impossible. Yes, I am talking to you, /lit/, to any of you who want to be authors, give up your dream, now, because it is futile and will bear no fruit.

What are some good websites to share your stories/novels/whatever? A lot of them are full of 12-year old tweens writing fan fic. Any good ones?
