And that is literally all philosophy today. The percentage of the population that reads it or is exposed to it's ideas is effectively zero. In the past, at least elites were well versed in it or ideas diffused into the bourgeoisie. This is not the case today. The institutional and cultural milieu has no relationship with philosophy. Although in fairness there aren't any ideas being put forth anyway, just tinkering away at dead ends in nihilistic skeptical regress and nothing else.

Either way it amounts to the same thing.
