Just finished "The Prince" by Machiavelli audiobook, have you heard of it? Really helped me maximize my sigma grindset and maneuver the investor meetings at my fourth startup.
Only problem is that there hasn't been a sequel in 500 years. Why aren't the Italians hustling? I decided to take some time between my 3 pm cold shower and 3:45 gym sesh to fly to Florence and see what me and the city officials can work out. However, I need some prior information. I'd say the principal influences one should examine in arriving at such a system of government would be Plato's Republic, the works of Lenin and Stalin, current Iranian and Chinese political literature as well as (paradoxically) Orwell's 1984 and Huxley's Brave New World.
