In some ways it's pretty neat because it was ahead of its, even when it comes to it's use of ye olde archaice Englishe. However, it's from a time where people hadn't yet grown up with the popular sentiment that humans are very likely utterly unimportant on a cosmic scale. World War 1 really helped in that regard.
