Deuteronomy 12:3: And ye shall overthrow their altars, and break their pillars, and burn their groves with fire; and ye shall hew down the graven images of their gods, and destroy the names of them out of that place.

1. Wittgenstein's description of language games as complete on their own is wrong. If the games themselves were complete on their own then one game would have no influence on what people do in other contexts. This is not the case as previous games weigh on how one engages in conversation with people with shared histories.
2. Wittgenstein's description of language as a collection of language games is wrong. If language games were complete on their own we would not speak of there being a language to which the games belong or of people speaking the same language.
3. Wittgenstein's call to provide a clear overview of our language to combat linguistic confusions is doomed to failure. His conception of language as a collection of language games prevents one from providing a clear overview of language itself. If one adopts his views, at most one can only provide overviews of an assortment of language games.
4. Wittgenstein had a male lover.
