While Neon Genesis Evangelion wants dances around the idea that everyone is the sum of others and they themselves see - and that you therefore should be able to create yourself (and the world?) in the image you wish...Deluze pertains that the process is completely unconscious and we use commodities to paint many different identities for ourselfes. Everybody is shizophrenic in capitalism.
At least I hope that's the case - just look at some of those twitter personalities.
