I recently got a Nook. Used to just read on my Droid X but this just takes it to another level.
I wouldn't have done it if I couldn't just get most of my books free. If I really like a book I'll just go find it and buy it.
And don't think the Kindle is always better, nook has ePubs support, better browser, color touch screen instead of hard keyboard, free reading in store, already has book sharing, expandable memory, user changeable battery. And it's only $10 more.

Okay I just got one of these guys.
Getting plenty of ePubs from drinkmalk to read, but I can't for the life of me find a copy of A Land Remembered from there or from liberal Googling.
I'm sure someone out there has a few sources for eBooks that they're willing to share.

I'm going to be visiting my boyfriend this December, and that means a 36 hour bus ride up there, and a 36 hour bus ride back.

I'm thinking about getting a nook to help pass the time. What can you guys tell me about it?
I was talking with one of the people at the B&N about it, and I noticed a few things that turned me off:
It's not in colour
There's no notepad
The keypad when there is one is tiny
And they said it was just the store version being slow, but whenever it flipped to another page, it showed an inverted version of the next page over the last page and then switched.

How good is it? Are other e-book readers better? Is the 3G worth the extra fifty bucks? Should I get a nook cover for another thirty bucks?
