Finding a good Bible (KJV)

My first/current Bible has seen better days. It's a solid hardcover copy of KJV that I picked up from a charity shop originally and has seen some good usage.
I'm looking for a sturdy copy for regular study and travel, but a lot that I see online has weird shit like "Words off Christ in red". What's up with this?
Christ is a character in the narrative of The New Testament, a central one at that. However having his speech printed in another colour is a bit much isn't it? We don't do this for Socrates, why Him?
