for me this is the highest level of comprehension of philosophy. he knew that philosophy is not science. he doesn't read philosophy to *agree* with this or that "argument" , he wants to enjoy the prose, the images, the atmosphere, the variety of subjects, and the whole aesthetical world embedded in the philosophical writing.
