Do you like WB Yeats /lit/?

How did he maintain such vigour in his later life? Most poets and authors develop a singular style in their youth but find it difficult to continue developing past middle age. Not only did Yeats continually develop his poetic style throughout his life, but it even seemed to grow far better as he grew older. Could it be connected with his late sexual development (not having sex until he was 30) which allowed him to maintain the lust that motivates the poetic craft? Did his Steinach operation (or at least the placebo effect from it) have a rejuvenating effect? Or was it something else more fundamental to his personality?
