So nobody has any? Or are you all hiding them to keep competition low?

>Some critics have accused Flynn of misogyny due to the often unflattering depiction of female characters in her books.

You sit reading in your room missing out on life, while some dead guy from centuries or millennia past infests your mind. Some dude who lived his life now takes root in a piece of your mind, in a piece of your SOUL, rent free. Now you are no longer anon, you are Anon+Plato. You read more now you're 20% anon 40% plato and 40% aristotle. You read more and more and more. You're now 1% anon and 30% plato and 20% aristotle and 19% kant and 30% camus.
You gave up your precious time on earth to them, and they now live through you. Your thoughts aren't your own, it's their's. It's basically bodysnatching. You invited them into your mind and now instead of anon you are taken over by a bunch of dead men.
Your only hope is to be like them and leave some crap behind that can allow your consciousness to invade some more poor witless haps like yourself throughout the future and keep the pyramid scheme going.
Except no, because it isn't LITERAL bodysnatching, that's just a metaphor. Once you're dead it doesn't matter what you leave behind, you aren't getting that time back no matter how many future people you con into wasting their time on you. It's not a two way street once you give it up it's gone, there's no return on your investment.

At least you owe your parents for feeding you and clothing you and all that, yeah it's only fair that some of themselves get imparted onto you in turn. In these case however you are just getting cucked out of life.

This might sound dumb but can you just start reading poetry, or do you need background or something?
I'm interested in the Divine Comedy and Rime of the Ancient Mariner because things I like are influenced by them, but I always feel I don't have the IQ or background to fully get into them.

But what if the guy who wrote it is socially inept and he didn't even realise he's bragging? Still cringe?
