Jesus was of the house of David, and he and the Father are one. The Ten Commandments are holy, and the New Testament stands on the Old. This is not an observance of Jewish ceremonial law, for the messiah has come in Christ. It is simply a reminder of that passage; an exhortation to love God and what he has prepared for us.
