What program do you use to read your E-books and why is it Calibre?

What software does anon use to organize his ebook library, edit metadata, etc.?

>inb4 just read the books, why bother
A lot of ebooks I read come with incorrect metadata, it takes me a few minute at most to fix it, and I like when my library is neat

Perhaps an alternative to picrel?

In Calibre, just like everyone else who's not a semen-slurping fedora-tipping reddit pseud.

yes, learn to use calibre and libgen. if you can only find a title in epub you can convert to azw3 (recommended) or mobi. i still like physically reading and buying books. but if its something i wont read again i dont buy it.

ITT: Library Organization

I doubt that many of you follow a classification system such as Dewey or The Library of Congress and I assume that most people on this board collect and write documents that could be difficult to personally catagorize.
I just started organizing documents with Calibre and I was just wondering what other anons do to be more organized, productive, professional, non-retarded, etc.

What do you use to read ebooks?
I made this thread on /g/ but most vir/g/ins only read the ouput of their terminals.

I'm using pic related, currently working on a plugin to organize the text in a specified number of column (like in magazines). Already made a dark mode for it, which is pretty based.

Speed reading autists and phone readers are welcome

I've asked /mu/ too, but I think I'm more likely to get an answer from this board. Is there any music software that functions the same way that Calibre does for ebooks? That is, software that manages the directory structure of your library for you? I don't want to have to think about files and folders, my software should do that for me. Calibre is perfect in this regard, but every music organiser I have tried takes a hands-off approach and leaves your music directory as-is.
