Do not read Doors of Perception. It's only like 15 pages of an actual trip report and the rest is idle musings about aesthetics and mystic visions in history from Huxley.

Read The Joyous Cosmology by Alan Watts instead. Much more poignant take and vivid insights into drug use, and how it relates to mystic visions. spirituality and art.
