How do you feel about female knights? I'm writing a story where the main love interest is a female knight. I want her to be strong and capable but I don't want to fall into the "strong independent woman" meme. She's a good fighter but any slightly above average male warrior would wipe the floor with her due to men just naturally being stronger, she's tough but still feminine and doesn't come off as a raging dyke, shit like that. Any tips?
