Following from what we've learned about cognitive dissonance (i.e. people who hold fallacious notions and who cannot intellectually explain themselves, "house built on sand") it's certainly worth to consider their thought processes on a more clinical and actionable level; a simplistic sequence brought to an abrupt end by logos is, it seems to me, the maximal possible scope of their thoughts and intellectual capacities, if we compare to arithmetic (as is helpful to do so) then the thought process (or the entire intellectual capability) of such a person can be understood as being "1+1=2, +1=3, +1=[shutdown]" as they cannot move beyond, "if this, then this, and if that then this," as the third clause baffles their minds and causes them to shut down cognitively rendering them incapable of reasoning - whether they are consciously lying to obfuscate is, I am coming to conclude, utterly irrelevant, as they will present violent obstruction whether intentionally or not if they are simply stupid (this conclusion was earlier reached of criminality and it seems no different here in how the criminal act arises in a persons mind).

But I have perhaps been overlooking a somewhat useful application of the mind of such a person or groups operating on such dynamics; it is am impasse they present but on the other hand an impasse can be a springboard by which we, the speaker, may vault as to scale the enemy barricade and cut heads faster. I hesitate to write overmuch as if to instruct the reader how to lie better, but I feel there is no other way to really exemplify the fatal weakness of an individual or a group which persists in operating upon errors; we may branch this topic through the fields of complex psychiatry and criminology and fathom much of the causes of the actions we hate are a result of weakness on the part of the doer of those actions. The adopted enmity of the religious or ideological zealot, for instance, stems from their cognitive deficit to understand their own errors and why we tell them they are in error, and their enmity is not instead formulated by their own calculated cunning and this is a cardinal thing for us to understand when considering the treatment of such people as they throw themselves against us and die upon the tips of our swords. The enmity we experience; be it verbal abuse or actual attempted harm, stems from the dissonance of a mind which has no solid basis by which it operates; thus it is perpetually fraught and thus it is never fit for amiable conversation in the open manner that we approach things.

Yes, I agree with this. It has the same "spiritualistic" new agey thing going on, whilst allying itself, paradoxically (or maybe not paradoxically) to the heathen churches dogmas.

Still, I have read the gospel of Thomas (and some others) and you can understand more of some of the more key concepts (Jesus's thoughts on Fasting as a rejuvenative act and the questions around it) from the time - which I would argue several cultures around the Jews had been doing for centuries already and the Jew only just learned it from them.

In non-vatican? You mean in the ... (i forget the term) ... sedo vacanti(?) .... varity of catholicism? I can see that actually, thinking about it. Without the proclamations of the Bishop there's no heresy accusation to be cast and no histories to rewrite; so Nag Hamadi would be perfectly fine.
