Don't be autistic, you know what he meant. If your text looks like shit, it's safe to assume you either don't know how to format it, or you couldn't spend 5 seconds to properly format it. Either way, your incompetence/laziness and lack of attention to details reflects poorly on you, especially if you're a teacher. I know you shouldn't judge books by their cover, but on the other hand, can I take you seriously if you can't get even basic shit right? If you put a shitty cover on a book, don't be surprised if it sells like shit.
