I got tired of vidya and movies.
JRPGs started feeling samey, mom doesn't buy me consoles anymore, and all the cancerous shit like on-disc DLC, paying for online play, gacha mechanics, microtransactions and loot boxes have completely turned me off vidya.
As for film, I've already logged almost 500 movies on Letterboxd. After a while you start to notice how most movies, even the popular ones, are poorly acted, with bad sfx and cliched plots. Not to mention that I don't know how to pirate films and Netflix has an atrocious catalog.
So I started reading books, and they're more deep and engaging than a lot of tv, movies, anime, manga and videogames once you get past the flash and sound of the former.

Aye cardinal, I'm guilty of the sins of Sloth, Gluttony and Lust these past few months. I've let things slow down to a crawl, wether it be my academic performance or engaging in my hobbies. I've been gorging myself on so much sweet crap and gained so much weight that my clothes barely fit, my wide cut jeans look like skinny jeans and they are really uncomfortable. I've been trying to do nofap again and again, inevitably failing during the night of the second day. I possess no motivation to do anything, the pills aren't working. Sometimes I think it's my lack of strong father figure that would be disgusted if he saw how I lived and would whip me into shape, but alas my parents divorced during my teens.
