Suppose it's a short story collection where all the other stories are tied to an overarching narrative/theme, like with Canterbury Tales or The Illustrated Man? Cause that's one of the things I'm working on right now

I remember reading The Illustrated Man from cover to cover over a couple nights when I was thirteen. It was my favorite collection of short stories for the longest time. Now all his stories make me feel nostalgic.

After reading Kaleidoscope, I really felt I had to slow down with this collection and give myself time to contemplate.

Howdy /lit/. I'd like to know what your thoughts are on The Illustrated Man. Personally, I think it's a classic, as well as weirdly prophetic in terms of technology and society.

So, thoughts?
