Almost all informed Christians willingly acknowledge that any other theist who acknowledges the core traits of God (omnipotence, omniscience, divine simplicity, the creator and sole foundation of the created world) is talking about the one and same God. The Christian contention is that this God, while He can be known through natural revelation, can only be known truly through Christian revelation, specifically what the Son, Jesus Christ, reveals about Him.

Awful argument that doesn't understand what "God" is. If you're talking about "other gods" then you're talking about beings within the natural universe which is NOT what God is and is irrelevant.

The fact you still talk about THE God like you're talking about some specific god in a pantheon is the reason they recommend it to you. Starting off reading the Bible like Yahweh is just a god among gods and not the foundation of all being identified with being the Unmoved Mover of Aristotle, the Form of the Good in Plato and the One in Plotinus will mean recommending it to you is pointless. God is the great I AM and for various reasons there can only be one.

The reasons for why Christian revelation is true revelation from the One God and the Koran and Bhagavad Gita are not true revelation but merely human philosophy that points toward the One is separate from the issue you're still thinking of God like Zeus and not God.
