Do you think there is a connection at all between repressed homosexuality and the far right?

Not to say that even anything close to the majority of far right people are closeted homosexuals, but I am of the view that homosexuals are disproportionately found in the far right vs mainstream society.

Are there are any authors who have touched on this topic that aren’t left-wing Freudians trying to pathologize it?
