>feelio dealio when got the book idea brewing in my head for a few days now
I SUPPOSE I should go ahead and start a basic outline of what I'd like to add, et al., and simply start writing huh

I don't know. Time to go back to my wishlist where I keep track of what I want to check out next. Probably some diamond dozen trash. In the meantime, I'm going to finish Instantiation by Greg Egan first. I wasn't very impressed by the first story although I'm sure he'll have some wild shit in store. And at last, I am one story away from finishing the big PKD short story omnibus.

I completed Confessions of a Crap Artist last night. Definitely one of the more tame (i.e., no wild psychedelic experiences, no mindfucks, and so on) PKD stories, and very human, truly captures the subjectivity of human nature.
I am around halfway through Stations of the Tide and I finally got into it a few chapters back. The prose is quite purple.

I'm not very interested in Stations of the Tide.
I'm a few chapters into Landfall but it hasn't became interesting as of yet.

PKD is Twilight Zone in literature format. I'm reading The Cosmic Puppets now and am almost finished.
>finished the decade with the Dick

I recently reread it and enjoyed it all. Finished it much faster too.

Same people who likely believe race exists and can't keep their shitposting to a relevant board/thread, i.e. NOT /sffg/.

>have no internet since last fucking Tuesday
>finish Battle Mage (aside from all the nodding and bowing, the prose was more than I expected from Amazontrash)
>finish Darkest Revenge (overall meh)
>get FIVE FUCKING BOOKS INTO CRADLE FUCK ALL OF YOU WHY DO I KEEP READING LITSHIT BUT NOBODY READS WHAT I READ
I actually really like this story, I am glad I have enough content to sate me for now (imagine starting this shit one or two books in), and I care more about Lindon's ascendancy than the overall story with Suriel and the Way.

Why do I care about most of the subplots in each Malazan? Although right now I'm nearly halfway through TtH and I'm excited to see the remaining marines fucking up the people who ambushed them, absolutely destroying their anal cavities. I wanna see my boy Cutter fuck the shit out of Apsalar already. I wanna see Kallor get fucked up by literally anybody. I wanna see Seerdomin become the new vengeful Itkovian and I want to see more of Itkovian being the best character in the series. I like Barathol and Mappo. Iskarel chapters are like Kate episodes in LOST.

Sanderson is literally doing 'medieval-to-space' meta-series shit. Do some research involving his long-term plans for the meta--his goals, how many books he has already pumped out, and the overall plan regarding amount of novels and short stories he has left.

City of Light by Wil Wight. This entire series has been like a surreal meld of fantasy and shonen. I'm so glad the author can pace, like in Book 2 when Simon and Leah were talking and second page in
>Something is up with Leah
instead of CHAPTERS LATER MAYBE AN INKLING OF A DOUBT
so refreshing I could see this entire series being stretched to five books easily but god bless being concise
Simon is a man who gets to the point and so do these books maybe it is meta and we are all truly Simon

>3-4 chapters into Demons of Astlan
>writing isn't anything spectacular
>read the prologue for the first Trysmoon book
>7 hours left
Why are self-published books so needlessly fucking long? Your FIRST of FOUR books does not need to be xboxhueg.
>read House of Blades
>despite it following some obvious tropes and the MC constantly suffering, actually sticking with it
At this point I just want the MC to gain the ability to fuck niggas up, poor guy needs it. I'm around 40%.
