Okay, I believe you. So this is a shot in the dark but I think you are one of the guys who lost his shit about drugs, and is now making a point. But homeopathy has been proven false and Dr. Rick Strassman did some very interesting things with his DMT tests. They were inconclusive because people were unable to continue, but he had some solid work. He showed it's produced by the pineal in rodents last year, as well.

Anyway, do you have anything like that for taking minute doses of things that already didn't work and calling it 'homeopathy', or...?

I'm reading a series books at the moment, and the copies I have are mismatched. I'm OCD about that sort of shit, so I'm planning to buy all the books as a complete set when they're all out, and dispose of the copies I'm using now.

In one book I have so far
>spilt wine on the pages
>accidently rubbed cigarette ash over the pages
>scratched my ass and tuned the pages, leaving a faint brown stain on the corners
>rubbed smegma down 1 page
>cracked the spine beyond all recognition
>dribbled on it

Time is not really an issue. When you learn to control it, no matter what how busy your days are, you'll find some.

It's about being surrounded by people who can give you a light, really. In college you might fix this. I only started college at 23 and until that I didn't care about the arts and literature at all, then I found some hipsters and they showed me the good stuff.

3rd person omniscient is too depersonalized for my tastes: there are three sides to every argument, but when you can see them all at once, it's hard to get the reader to empathize with any specific character enough to get a good feel for their feelings and motivations. Maybe if you were writing a story about omniscient beings, this wouldn't be an issue - but trying to convey in an all-knowing POV a character who (like all people) is defined at least in part by their fears and uncertainties, and by the faults in their knowledge, is a high hoop to jump through. At worst, you end up with a story where everyone seems to be 'holding the Idiot Ball' at all times, because the reader doesn't experience the limitations that help form their feelings and actions.

2nd person is a clusterfuck, almost always terribly done or unbearably pretentious. If you can pull this off in any more meaningful way than as a novelty, you win infinite blowjobs.

Hopefully this is in some way insightful or helpful to one of you.

try reading at least 2 books a month, keep track of what you read, who it's by and how many pages it is. Hopefully by the end of the year you will have added 24 new books to your library and you can look back fondly on the thousands of pages you read over the year. That's what I'm doing. Currently finishing up The Amazing Adventures of Kavalier and Clay and Children of Dune. I slipped up in May by only reading like half a book but I'm back on track now.
