I just finished Hunter S. Thompson's book on the Hell's Angels so I'm perusing my shelf trying to figure out what to read next. Usually I just pick a book and try my best to commit to it, but I noticed I only finish a few doing that. How do you guys ultimately decide what to read next?
I've also noticed that I tend to read anthologies and that my focus for longer novels is a bit shot, not because I don't want to read it but because I get distracted picking something else up.
I guess I'd call it choice paralysis or something more than boredom.
So aside from wondering how you guys choose what to read, how do you overcome that aspect of reading assuming you suffer as I do?
