I tried to get a job on upwork as a freelance editor and they turned me down because I'm fresh out of college with no relevant work experience. I can't even find a shitty side job to keep me eating while I work on writing. Honestly kill me.

Fuck you just reminded me of some autistic shit I did back in high school. Listen: I didn't and don't give a shit about sports, but my brother was in marching band so I went to all of the football games just to support him. But they only played at the beginning and at half time and I was his ride, so I couldn't just leave half way through. I didn't want to be bored, so I just read. Right on the bleachers. Granted, I sat far away from the student section because that was always louder, but I know people still saw me. This was one of the books I read. Imagine that, a fat neckbeard reading Camus at a football game.

What's some good literature about nostalgia? Philosophical or fictional. I've been on a decline for a while and this year has been real JUST for me. I find myself constantly pining for the halcyon days. I need literature for enlightenment and inspiration.
