Is it worth a read?

So are those "Laws" legit or are they made up crap for losers to swallow? I heard one of the author's other books claimed afghanistan had a lot of warm water ports, while the country is landlocked lmao.
Anyway what is the concensus on this book? Does it have any merits or is it trash?

Is 48 Laws of Power any good for a self help book? Or is there any other self help book that is better?

what's up /lit/ I don't usually post here but I need some recommendations. I don't read novels but I fuck with books like the art of war and 48 laws of power. what are some more book like that, and do you know a book or internet that talks more about each individual law than the three sentences in the book?

I want to read something that may actually help me think of how to be successful and more sociable and I keep getting this recommended. I figured I'd come here and ask if this is a good book or if there are better alternatives.

Are books written by Robert Greene any good? I've heard mixed opinions about them, and was wondering what you guys think.

Hi. I am an avid fan of books that talk of power through mental and physical superiority.

1 book that I was recommended toward quite a while ago was: The 48 Laws of Power, by Robert Greene.

After looking into it I notice that it does have a critical point made against it; that it includes contradictory laws. Not that it would take much away from the quality of the book and the concepts it comprises; but I want to know if there is a more refined book of the same content.

Please suggest a book that includes the laws or rules to gain power over a person/people through mental and physical means
Not one like Sun Tzu's which is military, but more for business and interpersonal relationships.
