When I was a kid at one point I got slightly annoyed by a classmate who skimmed through pages during "reading time", posing as though he was actually reading, so I decided to race him in this manner for fun, since I did not really read anything during "reading time" anyway; for a brief period afterward I slightly rejoiced in annoying my parents in the car by doing the same thing with books borrowed from the library during the drive back home, claiming that I had finished one of my onehundred to twohundred page books after "reading" it for approximately ten minutes.

I have pity for some of the good parents that I know from one of my workplaces that force themselves to partake in this ridiculous system just so that they can fulfill their quotidian requirements for sustenance; I wish that I could gift them freedom.

I wish that individuals were as aware as I am that I can always sense with my peripheral vision the direction of their attention when they are situated in close proximity to me.

I wish that not moving one's face or body in public for more than a few seconds was not considered "weird".

Because I do not like talking about mundane things with superfluous nonpersons, especially if this involves staying in pretentious public spaces for prolonged periods of time.
