I just started reading The Sickness Unto Death.

Am I dumb for not understanding this?

the bashing of the state system around p. 200 was so lengthy, I stopped with the book for now (that was 4 months ago).

I'd like to read more on 1-1 human interaction and live goal than just a critique of political or societal systems (that are here to stay anyway, as long as I'll be alove, 70 years, say)

Hey I read up on his thinking just today!

What I really don't get: Apart from the negative reason (opposing the church), what does Kierkegaarts philosophy really have to do with Christianity?
I mean whateven I come up with, there is so much more to Christianity than it, and I don't see how he is a "Christian writes".
Feels like he just happens to be Christian on the side - how can we sell his stuff as being about Christianity?
