What do you think about this Slovenian masterpiece and probably the only book that people know from Bartol
I was expecting a little bit too much. His prose is simple and only a few of the character are well developed. It's a good look at ideology brainwashing and you can have different interpretations of what it's really about the state of the word of his time ~1930 , or the the political situation in his own country and more, it's easy to get what you want from it.
