What are some secondary literature that will help me understand Zhuangzi better? I'm not really interested in taoism in general, I'm specifically interested in Zhuangzi, and from my limited understanding it heavily differs from the mainstream taoism. I also have the feeling that I'll never truly understand it unless I learn Chinese, which is basically an impossible task. Also, if any anons want to read Zhuangzi, from my extensive research I've concluded that Brook Zyporin's Zhuangzi: The Complete Writings is the best English version of the book.

There is a certain smugness in Zhuangzi which I very much enjoy.

Once upon a time, I dreamt I was a butterfly, fluttering hither and thither, to all intents and purposes a butterfly. I was conscious only of my happiness as a butterfly, unaware that I was myself. Soon I awaked, and there I was, veritably myself again. Now I do not know whether I was then a seal dreaming I was a butterfly, or whether I am now a butterfly, dreaming I am a seal.

I should find better entertainment, I admit.
I am in no way suicidal. Lit doesn’t give me purpose. Literature isn’t even what gives me purpose. It’s shown me the way, but that come and gone.
The trip? Not even the name is that important. I know who I am and it’s not a butterfly.
