how the fuck are you supposed to read when you're a brainlet with shit memory? I spent 3 weeks reading The Republic and shitposting/discussing about it here only for me to forget most of it in a month. there must be a way to retain information even if you have bad memory, r-right?

What are some books about how time passes and can't be regained and everything is going to end and reality is pointless because of it? I'm sick of trying to deal with my mortality, i just wanna mourn for time past.
