Leftists/socialists/communists worship the state.

They have their religious creation myth in the schools too to reinforce that too: big bang, life from nonlife, and evolution; so man is the supreme being in their worldview, and if someone's in power or some office, then they're the authority in their lives, they're the "experts". The state religion of evolution makes good servile slaves to the state.

They never listen to anyone who doesn't already agree with them. They're certainly not liberals either, since they hate liberty.
