I've read the first 2 book when i was a teen.
So, I was really excited when in 2007 they have announced a pilot episode.
But sadly the s1 came out when I had dropped the books since years.
I don't know why, but today I can't tie myself to the franchise. Even though I know that it's well done, I couldn't read the new books or watch the show. ;-;
