Wheel of Time has shifting POV organized in clusters : a few chapters this character, a few other chapters this other character and so on and so forth. Then towards the end of each book it escalates into a big climax which is usually a battle/big action scene that the entire book has been building up to.

A lot of time is also spent on worldbuilding, description of women's clothing et cetera, see the chart for reference.

I still recommend it although it has its rough patches.
