What are the most unsettling/disturbing books you've read? I'm looking for recommendations.

Harlan Ellison's stuff is a good read if you want to feel some despair.

I have only listened to a few and the best seemed to be I have no mouth I must scream. It had a creepy voice and nice background sound and was only on for an hour.Lying on my bed in the dark just made me feel like I was there.

Are there any audiobooks what could give a house of leaves sort of vibe ?
Obvs that's not going translate well as a audiobook but if you've read it then you know how it can make you feel.and that's what I want from this audio book

P/s: you shouldn't ask "how do people like you can get married?", you should ask why your kind of people are not married (inb4 full MGTOW arguments)

Forgive me for sounding ignorant but I've just realised this now. I know what the third reich (Nazi Germany) but what was the first and second reich?
