Lots of philosophy, books about people's lives, books set in certain time periods, etc. require you to know about history. I was dumb as a kid and didn't pay attention during history. How do I get a better view of history, different ages, and progression through those ages? Looking for books that will help me get an overview of history in general, not just a particular time period.
