This is an idea exclusive to JP, it has been the function of religion for as long as religion has existed. It offers you a moral structure to live your life by, incentivized with eternal life or not, that is undeniably a gift. It is hard to be alone with your thoughts, but when you have a voice that guides you and comforts you, it gets a whole lot less challenging. What's more is it helps you make sure that your fear doesn't control you or hurt those around you.

Had an anxiety attack on lsd once which sucked, now I sometimes get bad anxiety attacks on weed. Robot ripping was fun too but I swore off that stuff, probably don’t have the right kind cough medicine anyway, and the come ups are too intense for me.

I guess there’s alcohol but I have a job interview tomorrow afternoon which is why I’m not drinking so I can be 100% mentally, along with the fact that I’m out and alcohol sales are closed until 9 am tomorrow.

Might go on a binge after the call I guess.
