Does it get better? I'm currently reading Fall of Hyperion (Haha, nice reference to your writing getting worse in the second book, Simmons) and I see it doesn't have the charm of the first book. I'm debating whether I should or should not go for the rest of them.

So I'm almost finished with prince of nothing (200 pages left) and there's still almost no appearence from the Inchoroi or the Consult. ¿Do I have to read another 4 fucking books about this? ¿Are they good?

>tfw no other book series will ever again be able to induce the same kind of existential dread and fear of damnation, no other book will make you exult in the victories of the holy war, no other book will make you feel the horrors of marching across a desert with only a third of your company surviving, no other book will make you see nightmare about the end times and the Great Ordeal, no other book will make you think of Meat...

>anime/manga
I would not be glad if my father appreciated those things. It may be, it just may be, that his love for the mind-addling anime and manga have ruined his taste in actually good books. You might try to lure him into the right path first with some fantasy that is more anime-like, like Mistborn. No kidding, he might even like Sanderson's books. It is only after those that you move on to something better, and only after that, if even then, you might try to persuade him to try Bakker once again.

the inchoroi are actually the good guys because they want to end damnation in its entirety. Kellhus plan is to literally turn Earwa into hell and live forever as Ajokli. Its the same or worse then hell because people he kill might pass into the actual hell after living in Hell on Earwa. Consult wants to shut off the outside and spare future generations from hell. Consider how many millions of people are roasting just from Earwa and the progenitor civilization. Its clearly the highest good to end this and any means to do so are going to be far less destructive and create less suffering than the eternal existence of a hell that 99% of souls end up in.

Aurang did literally nothing wrong

It's actually more likely that Dûnyain are a scrapped Nonman project in an effort to reach the Absolute and escape damnation

Proofs:

1. The word Dûnyain itself is Nonman in origin. Tons of characters say this.
2. Kellhus could easily speak to the first Nonman he met, indicating that all Dûnyain shared the original Nonman tongue.
3. Nonmen bred the Emwama over thousands of years. Good evidence that they probably started breeding the Dûnyain as well.
4. Ishuäl was literally built by the Nonmen, modeled after their own mansions.

The only sane Nonmen we meet in the series are perfectly aware of the nature of reality, referring to the gods as "principles" instead of deities, so they were probably breeding superhumans that could literally think their way out of this mess. Since Nonmen had no women at that point, they had to breed humans instead. Then the Apocalypse happened, and they had to send off their human guinea pigs to Ishuäl to hopefully continue their work and find a solution to the problem of eternal assrape by demons.

My own writing will sometimes have this effect on me. It is as if the text settles into a rictus when you leave it alone and on your return the awful artless posing of death hits. But as no one but you has seen it, the horror is still born. There is a chance, you must reach out with youe hands, the most primitive abortifacent, and wring the neck, butcher the flesh. Then sow the field again.

Otherwise only if what I'm reading is extremely cringeworthy, like a post on /lit/.
