I just opened this book to read for the first time in a few weeks and apparently I'm on 'The Lesser Evil' yet I recall anything before that. I remember this book really entertaining me but its so fucking forgettable or was I just drunk bros?

Should I read Sapkowski? I mostly read horror, and usually stuff that is short because I read a lot for work and am lazy. I love Lovecraft, James, Ligotti, etc, but occasionally get into fantasy. The problem is a lot of fantasy are doorstop books I never get through. I like REH and Fritz Leiber but I tried reading Name of the Wind because my gf loves it but never got very, god it was tedious. Another girl I like is a big Witcher fan, maybe just the games though idk, so thats got it into my head I should read the books, at least the short stories. Are they any good?

The Last Wish does that, if you're into the Witcher.
