It's not a philosophical system. It's a rejection of philosophical systems (which is a typical division in philosophy). It is contradictory where it relies on a philosophical abstraction of the Ego to get anywhere at all, which Stirner himself was conscious of, hence he never made spookbusting into some grand dogma and contended himself with the life of a milkman. The book itself is a satire of philosophy and when you take it too seriously you become the object of the joke.
