Nietzsche was brainwashed by Schopenhauer so he didn't take the time to understand dialectics so he could never grasp the real essence and significance of Christianity... all he had was his own subjectivist whining and psychological ailments to put on paper in the end

Feuerbach proved "Man is the God of man" is the only logical conclusion drawn from an analysis of Christian dogmas; the only real content of these dogmas is the highest hopes and aspirations of humanity. Religious awareness just unknowingly attribute these aspirations and give to them objective existence in a superhuman realm.

>For theology, science is only a means to the end of belief. It urges upon science an impure, servile sense, contradictory to the spirit of science. 1 he scientific spirit is the universal spirit, the nameless spirit -- not Christian, but also not pagan. There is no such thing as Christian and Pagan mathematics, no Christian and Pagan logic, psychology, metaphysics, no Christian and Pagan philosophy. A philosophy which takes itself to be Christian and is Christian, is on this very count a deficient, limited philosophy which is in contradiction to the concept of philosophy. Philosophy is not cosmogony or theogony -- it is neither Hesiodic nor Homeric, nor mythical, nor Aristotelian nor Platonic. It is instead the science of the calm spirit, of logico-metaphysical principles, of the laws which rule both nature and man. But these laws are eternal and changeless. They rule the Christian world today no less than they did the pagan world. Theology, however, is essentially Christian theology; its principle is not truth as such, but Christian truth -- i.e., what is Christian is true. Thus its essence is not universality but particularity.

Feuerbach was literally Sam Harris
