He has to either fill the boots of a physicist or a navy seal taking part in a desperate struggle to defeat an alien invasion plenty of explosions, nukes and weapons of mass destruction even more impressive than that get used, there are small mech suits for our main characters but melee is not an option, you're not gonna survive long enough to do that.
