Hey /lit/

Extreme intuitive here,

Post a photo of your face and I can tell if you are a storytelling or not, as well as a natural writer.

This may be a dumb question, but I figure this is the place to ask. If you publish a book you write on amazon and it sells well, would it help you get it actually published in print? Is there a point that a company will just come to you and offer?

Any good books/online courses on history of film?

Looking for something that focuses more on the storytelling side rather than the art of directing (though I'm interested in that too).
