What did he mean by this?

Can someone explain to me the ancient Greek understanding of Logos? Like an easy to follow explanation. I know enough to know it's not 'logic', but when reading Heraclitus and he says shit like
>He who hears not me but the logos will say: All is one.
I really have a hard time following. Is it something like natural law?
