What the hell did I just read?
>And in the high summer is thresht the ripened corn. If therefore, he plow or sow, it still is meet the laborer strive unclad; and lo, his turn for resting and feasting comes in winter weather, When the crops are house, and the hinds make merry together.

Was this literally just a very long manual for how to farm? What was I supposed to get out of this? I barely understood it. Nothing else has felt like it has filtered me so hard.

What are Virgil's Georgics like? I want to start reading him, but since I've not read any Homer yet there's not much point reading the Aenid right now so yeh.
